LAKE MARY, FL (April 3, 2012) – Approximately seven dozen members of the media from across the United States are expected to attend the 22nd Annual ING Spring Conference May 20-24 at the Embassy Suites Golf Resort & Conference Center in Greenville, SC.
Anyone in the golf industry or media is invited to attend the conference, conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf, where media and the golf industry connect. Industry executives from companies large and small, and from every segment of the industry, will join golf media of all types at this annual gathering that is expected to attract over 160 people.
Media members from publications, shows and websites large and small will be on hand to learn about new products, services and destinations, and to create or nurture relationships with the business community.
They will be able to gather story material or work on relationships during such events as the One-On-One Appointment Show, the Demo Lab on the range, and the various golf events and educational functions.
Included among media outlets that have committed to the conference so far are six golf radio shows that will be doing interviews and, in some cases, live shows from the host site. Those shows are: The Augusta Golf Show, Briefcase Golf (ESPN Tampa), Golf Insiders (ESPN Orlando), Golf Talk Live from Philadelphia, Grand Strand Golf Weekly, and ESPN Greenville.
Some of the other media members committed thus far represent media outlets such as: The A Position, Back9 Network, Chicago Sun-Times, Golf Digest, Golf Georgia, Golfweek, Golfing Magazine, Golfers Guide-Sarasota, Golf Minnesota, Little Black Book of Golf, Philadelphia Daily News, New England Golf Monthly, New Mexico Golf News, Pro Shop Magazine, Southern New England Golfer, Western New York Golf Report and more.
The ING Spring Conference features four days of product presentation, networking, education, golf and business-building opportunities.
The focus of this year’s conference is Digital Media and Marketing. A blue ribbon panel will share expertise in various aspects of digital communications on the first full day of the event, followed by a Q&A. There will also be more personal, hands-on sessions during the conference.
The ING Conference schedule is jammed with educational, networking and product display opportunities. Other highlights:
1) The ever-popular One-On-One Appointment Show, a series of private meetings between exhibitors and media to open lines of communication, create unique promotional programs, gather story materials and build relationships.
2) The Demo Lab will feature companies large and small displaying their latest equipment and training gear on the practice range and green.
3) Education and self-improvement programs galore.
4) Lots of networking events.
