PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – The Keiser University College of Golf hosted an Impact Zone Golf Clinic at The PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Over a three-week period, 15 Keiser University College of Golf students attended the three-part program which covered an overview of five unique swing dynamics, drills and personal instruction.
A comprehensive instructional system founded by 16-year Tour pro Bobby Clampett, Impact Zone Golf offers a wide range of golf instruction, services and products designed to enhance and accelerate the enjoyment and learning of the game of golf. Impact Zone Golf was designed to address what Clampett considers the five key facets of golf – dynamics, style, knowledge, fitness and health, and mental. Engaging all five of these facets creates a holistic approach, which leads to the most enjoyment and improvement and the best results.
“Impact Zone Golf is an intensive program and we’re very proud of all the students that participated,” says Keiser University College of Golf Executive Director of Golf Operations Dr. Eric Wilson, who is a PGA Master Professional and an Impact Zone Golf Master Instructor. “Students were overwhelmingly positive in their comments about improved ball-striking and the ability to better control their ball flight. We’re definitely looking forward to hosting our next Impact Zone certification event.”
Students completing all three clinics are eligible to achieve Impact Zone Player Certification by applying to Impact Zone Golf and passing a 50-question exam to demonstrate their understanding of Impact Zone’s Five Dynamics. To date, seven Keiser University College of Golf students have achieved Player Certification.
Dr. Wilson was assisted during the clinic by JPGA Professional and Golf Magazine Top 100 Adjunct Instructor John Callahan and Keiser University College of Golf student John Ennen, who was the college’s first Impact Zone Certified Player and who is now an Impact Zone Associate Instructor.
