Week-long sessions include video swing analysis, short-game evaluation, fitness and nutrition tips, on-course instruction, 18-hole tournament
(ORLANDO, FL) — The ANNIKA Academy, Hall-of-Famer Annika Sorenstam’s boutique golf instruction and fitness facility, announces it will host two week-long junior golf camps this summer.
The first session will be held June 25-29; the second from July 9-13. Each is designed for up to 12 juniors (ages 14-18) and will be staffed by the Academy team, which is dedicated to sharing the techniques that helped Annika become a 10-time major champion. Program highlights include:
• Video swing analysis
• Short game evaluation
• Fitness and nutrition advice
• Rules and etiquette education
• Practice and tournament preparation tips
• Skills challenge
• Nine holes of on-course instruction (first four days)
• 18-hole tournament (final day)
As an added bonus, the June 25-29 session will include a special clinic and lunch with Annika, winner of a record eight LPGA Player of the Year awards.
“Ingraining proper fundamentals, sound nutrition and fitness habits and a winning mental approach are essential to maximizing long-term potential and enjoyment of the game,” says Annika. “Limiting participation to no more than 12 will help juniors make the most of their time with our gifted instruction staff.”
The June 25-29 session costs $1,800 per junior; July 9-13 is $1,500.
