‘Hottest shafts in golf’ captures wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts on PGA Tour
POWAY, Calif. – Aldila’s latest addition to the RIP shaft series, the Phenom, incorporates their Tour proven RIP Technology™ (Reverse Interlaminar Placement) with a unique composite construction to create a new and innovative shaft flex profile for maximum distance and control – Hyperbolic Flex Technology™.
After switching to Aldila’s RIP Phenom® in his driver, the Most Accurate Driver at the RBC Heritage finished the tournament with an overall Driving Accuracy rating of 82.14 percent, which easily surpassed the Field’s average of 64.94 percent.
“The Phenom’s Hyperbolic Flex Technology incorporates the same flex, torque and feel properties that have made the original RIP the leading shaft on the PGA Tour, with a flex profile to achieve unparalleled performance and launch characteristics for better players,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “Hyperbolic Flex Technology provides a stiff tip section for optimal launch and spin control, with a very firm butt section for an incredibly stable feel. The center section of the shaft is softer to provide outstanding kick through impact to maximize ball speed.”
The RIP was also instrumental in Aldila (www.aldila.com) winning the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at the RBC Heritage and maintaining their status as the #1 graphite shaft on Tour. Aldila had 20 more wood shafts in play than the next leading shaft manufacturer making it 16 consecutive weeks that Aldila has won that count on the PGA Tour, according to the Darrell Survey.
Aldila’s NV VooDoo® shaft has helped the No. 3 player in the Official World Golf Ranking take over the top spot in Total Driving on the PGA Tour.
The NV VooDoo® features Aldila’s S-core (stabilized core) Technology™. It has the same outstanding features of the original VooDoo but with the flex profile and incredible feel of the Aldila NV. The secret is the innovative rib structure that runs the length of the shaft increasing hoop strength/stiffness. It’s designed to maximize energy transfer to the golf ball, yielding unparalleled distance and accuracy with each swing.
Aldila catapults power to an unprecedented level. High performance technology harnessed and perfected from a special blend of materials, design and expertise. They are continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
