Business authority Michael Lengel to lead move to full-service agency
(VIENNA, VA) – Buffalo Communications – the global golf-lifestyle public relations, branding and marketing-communications firm – has created a new division, Buffalo Strategy Services, to further contribute to client-partners’ short- and long-term profitability.
Prominent business advisor Michael Lengel has been named Senior Vice President of Buffalo Strategy Services, which provides research and analytical insight, strategic planning, and marketing program development and execution.
The new division will benefit companies in Buffalo Communications’ core golf sector and adjacent luxury consumer goods, travel, hospitality, real estate, fashion and sports categories.
“We are prudently moving toward full-service agency status,” says Rich Katz, Managing Director of Buffalo Communications and Buffalo Strategy Services. “Our new suite of programs brings an even greater level of sophisticated direction as well as qualitative and quantitative data to client-partners.”
Buffalo Strategy Services is focused on helping client-partners grow their top lines by:
• Making clear choices about where to compete and how to win in their unique marketplaces
• Building more high-quality customer relationships
• Executing more effective market penetration programs
• Aligning the organization around customers and markets
To support this, its team concentrates on three inter-related service areas:
• Insights – Market research, customer analytics, market segmentation and competitive analysis
• Strategy development – Corporate and business unit planning, market, customer and brand strategy, functional plans and organization alignment
• Execution – Marketing program development, piloting and management, and facilitation of executive decision-making
“There’s a tremendous opportunity to develop powerful, insight-driven market strategies that propel top- and bottom-line performance for golf, lifestyle and related companies,” says Lengel. “By combining forces with the strong talents of Buffalo Communications, we will provide what businesses are increasingly demanding – a full spectrum of services from insight to strategy to marketing execution.”
The launch of Buffalo Strategy Services follows Buffalo Communications’ 2011 introduction of a creative services discipline that now designs compelling advertising campaigns and marketing support materials for more than 10 brands.
Highly regarded for its media relationships and publicity results for more than 50 client-partners, Buffalo Communications also creates and manages media-planning and buying programs, social-media outreach and brand-message platforms.
Lengel came in contact with Buffalo Communications six years ago through its parent company, Billy Casper Golf. For the owner-operator of 130 golf courses, he helped build its industry-leading strategy and technology platform for consumer acquisition and retention.
For more than 20 years, Lengel consulted for many of the world’s finest management teams on pivotal issues of marketing and customer strategy, corporate strategic planning, business development and organization design.
