Edwin Watts Golf Creative Department Honored At Local ADDY Awards

Creative campaigns recognized by Emerald Coast Chapter of American Advertising Federation

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla., April 16, 2012…Edwin Watts Golf Shops, LLC, one of the world’s largest specialty golf retailers, today announced the Company’s creative department was recognized at the Emerald Coast Chapter of the American Advertising Federation’s Local ADDY Awards, receiving one Gold and one Silver ADDY Award for advertising creative excellence.

The Gold ADDY was recognized in the Micro/Mini Site category for the dynamic “Holiday Online Shopper’s Guide,” a one-stop shopping solution for all golfers during the holiday season. This was created to remove the guesswork from any consumers’ online holiday shopping experience – whether shopping for a novice, or a highly skilled player, this guide was easy to navigate, incorporated colorful imagery and was designed to make a shopper’s selection process fun, easy and affordable. The content included in the “Holiday Online Shopper’s Guide” highlighted every golf product category, insight on new golfing trends, the hottest-selling items for the upcoming season, and much more. Individuals recognized included Mary Jo Gustave, Creative Director; Thomas Kulesa, Graphic Designer; and Jim Stewart, Photographer.

Additionally, the creative department received a Silver ADDY in the Direct, B to B or Consumer category for “Blueprint To A Better Game,” a tri-fold direct mail piece that was sent to hundreds of thousands of homes in May 2011. Mary Jo Gustave, Creative Director, and Brian Rightley, Graphic Designer, were recognized in conjunction with this award.
