LAKE MARY, FL (April 26, 2012) – Several more organizations have secured spots in the 22nd Annual ING Spring Conference May 20-24 at the Embassy Suites Golf Resort & Conference Center in Greenville, SC. All four will have tables in the ING One-On-One Appointment Show Tuesday morning of the conference.
Anyone in the golf industry or media is invited to attend the conference, conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf, where media and the golf industry connect. Industry executives from companies large and small, and from every segment of the industry, will join golf media of all types at this annual gathering that is expected to attract over 150 people.
Below are summaries for four more of the organizations that have committed for the conference.
TOUR EDGE — Located in Batavia, IL, Tour Edge manufacturers and sells golf clubs under both the Exotics and Tour Edge brands names. Exotics golf clubs are for those who demand the finest performing golf clubs in the world. With experienced designers and smaller production runs, Exotics by Tour Edge can bring futuristic technologies to the marketplace months, even years, ahead of its time. Exotics manufactures the finest quality, high-technology golf clubs and hand-assembles them one set at a time.
WHO’S YOUR CADDY — Golf’s newest mobile app is free to courses and players. Golfers earn Gimmes – free gifts from neighborhood businesses – by simply using the Who’s Your Caddy app. Participating courses earn revenue through Who’s Your Caddy’s unique advertising program, and all they have to do is make players aware of the app. Caddy-like advice is provided for each hole via a short video. And all the other cutting edge tools expected from golf mobile apps are offered. WYC was created by parent company Red Mat Media.
POLARA GOLF – Polara golf balls are designed for use by recreational golfers who want to take advantage of technology improvements designed to help them enjoy the game more. The secret behind Polara’s self-correcting anti-slice golf ball technology is all in the dimple pattern. The golf balls have shallower dimples around the equator and deeper dimples on each pole. The ball exhibits significantly lower lift (and lower drag as well) than a normal golf ball. This reduction in lift translates directly into a reduction of the force tending to cause the ball to curve from a straight trajectory, resulting in a hook or slice.
VERTICALRESPONSE – VerticalResponse Inc. provides a full suite of self-service marketing solutions for businesses including email marketing, social media marketing, event marketing, direct mail marketing and online surveys. Our mission is to empower businesses and non-profit organizations to easily and affordably create, manage and analyze their own marketing campaigns. The company has over 100,000 customers and is ranked No. 343 Fastest Growing Company in North America on Deloitte’s 2011 Technology Fast 500.
The ING Spring Conference features four days of product presentation, networking, education, golf and business-building opportunities.
The educational focus of this year’s conference is Digital Media and Marketing. A blue ribbon panel will share expertise in various aspects of digital communications on the first full day of the event, followed by a Q&A. There will also be more personal, hands-on sessions during the conference.
The ING Conference schedule is jammed with educational, networking and product display opportunities. Other highlights:
1) The ever-popular One-On-One Appointment Show, a series of private meetings between exhibitors and media to open lines of communication, create unique promotional programs, gather story materials and build relationships.
2) The Demo Lab will feature companies large and small displaying their latest equipment and training gear on the practice range and green.
3) Education and self-improvement programs galore.
4) Lots of networking events.
