Each JTNC tournament is 36 holes, played over two days, and features competition for boys and girls ages 18 and younger who have not started college. Players are grouped according to ability, based on their established handicaps.
“Week in and week out the JTNC competition is close and exciting,” said Peter Cazzolla, President and CEO of Capital Insurance Group. “The Series is a true showcase of the tremendous junior golf talent in Northern California, as well as the excellence of the championship golf courses on our schedule. Together they make this one of the premier regional junior tours in the country.”
Roddy Ranch is one of the most recognized facilities in Northern California. The vision of Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame cowboy and golf aficionado Jack Roddy, the par 72 is a links-style layout set beneath the East Bay foothills, winding along what was once a 2,000-acre cattle ranch. Designed by award-winning golf architect J. Michael Poellot, the golf course opened in 2000.
