11th annual event offers chance to play nationally acclaimed course by making tax-deductible charitable donation
(SHELTON, Washington) – Salish Cliffs Golf Club – the newest amenity of Little Creek Casino Resort, located a short drive from Seattle and Olympia – will host the 11th Annual Squaxin Island Museum Golf Tournament on Monday, June 4.
The tournament provides golfers the opportunity to play one of the most talked-about golf courses in the country while making a tax-deductible contribution. Proceeds will directly benefit the Squaxin Island Museum, Library and Learning Center, which is also known as “The Home of Our Sacred Belongings” and offers mentorships, educational programs and jobs for younger people.
“Squaxin Island Museum, Library and Learning Center is an integral part of the Squaxin Island Tribe and all that it stands for,” said Salish Cliffs Head Professional David Kass, PGA. “We’re thrilled Salish Cliffs will play home to this special event and support a cause that is so important to an entire nation of people.”
The tournament will feature a scramble format with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The green fees include golf, cart, range balls, a catered lunch, a tee gift and two drink tickets (good for beer or soda) at the Awards Dinner and Auction, which will be held in the Salish Cliffs Clubhouse following the tournament.
