Nexbelt, Volvik, Zero Friction, PGA Golf Exhibitions To Sponsor 25th Annual ING Media Awards
Three returning companies and one new company have signed as Support Sponsors of the 25th Annual ING Media Awards contest.
Nextbelt, PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions and Zero Friction have renewed their sponsorships from 2018. Volvik joins the list of sponsors for 2019 and will award golf balls to all winners and outstanding achievers.
The non-profit International Network of Golf conducts the contest, recognizing the best and brightest among its media members. Winners will be announced and honored at the ING Media Awards Presentation Press Conference January 23, 4:45 pm in Room 312 at the PGA Merchandise Show. The annual PGA Show Media Reception will follow in the same room.
Nexbelt is known for its innovative technology and providing golfers with the maximum comfort and minimal adjusting. The unique ratcheting system called Precise FitTM allows the wearer to adjust the belt in ¼ inch increments, providing the golfer with the best fit, feel, and fashion.
PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions, in partnership with the PGA of America, organizes two industry business gatherings in the U.S. each year. The PGA Merchandise Show launches the New Year in golf business each January in Orlando. The PGA Fashion & Demo Experience is held in Las Vegas in August.

This year saw a record number of entries in several categories. Of the 13 categories in the ING Media Awards, eight are for writers: Travel Writing, Business Writing, Feature Writing, Opinions/Editorials, Profile Writing, Equipment/Apparel Writing, Competition Coverage, and Books.
Other categories include Excellence in Publications, TV, Internet Video and two Radio/Podcast categories.
Judging is done by a panel of three independent experts in each category. Judges are selected by Individual Category Chairs. Where possible, by-lines and publication names are stripped from the articles before they are sent to the judges.
