Sterling site offers golfers easy access to leading technology for lessons & equipment
Centennial, Colo. (May 17, 2012) – GolfTEC, the world leader in golf improvement, is opening a new high-tech improvement center in Sterling, Va., inside the Golfsmith store at the Potomac Run Plaza.
Since 1995, GolfTEC has given more than 3,500,000 lessons at 150 improvement centers in North America, helping golfers shoot lower scores and have more fun on the golf course.
Although the doors of the Sterling GolfTEC center are opening Friday May 18, the newly completed facility is officially celebrating at a grand opening party co-hosted by Golfsmith next weekend, May 25-27. Golfers are invited to check out the center, bring a friend and participate in clinics, contests and more. Potomac Run Plaza is easily accessible from Route 7 and the Cascades Parkway, at 46301 Potomac Run Plaza.
“We are proud to provide the most successful game improvement system in America to golfers in the Northern Virginia region,” said Craig Voudren, Manager and Director of Instruction at the Sterling venue. “We are excited to establish our lesson programs. I have been a golf instructor since 1993 and I know that golfers who come to our center will be amazed by the GolfTEC experience.”
All GolfTEC lessons are taught one-on-one in private, indoor bays that maximize the learning experience. GolfTEC utilizes proprietary teaching technology and the skills of its Certified Personal Coaches to help golfers improve their skills and increase enjoyment of the game.
The core of GolfTEC’s success is its proprietary g-SWING system, which combines digital video with motion measurement, capturing body positions at several different points throughout the swing. A simple color-coded display guides instruction and reinforces swing changes.
The new Sterling center features two private training bays, with one dedicated to the Foresight launch monitor and ball tracking system, as well as a third private bay designated as a warm-up area.
“Golfers in Northern Virginia will discover the best golf instruction available,” said Voudren, who will be joined at the Sterling center by certified GolfTEC coach Derek White. “We’re excited to be part of this facility with Golfsmith and look forward to providing the best that GolfTEC has to offer every golfer, so they will play better and have more fun.”
GolfTEC lessons do not end at the center’s doors. Using the personalized, online Player Performance Center, every student can review their lessons-including full video and the coach’s instructions-anytime and anywhere over the internet.
