(RESTON, VA) – Reston National Golf Course – managed by Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – will conduct an open house, hosted by local Golf Channel “Big Break” competitor Aubrey McCormick, to unveil its renovated pavilion on Friday, May 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The pavilion features new flat-screen televisions, furniture and exterior walls. The 150-seat, covered outdoor patio is the ideal setting for post-round relaxation, corporate ad charity golf outings, and other social events.
At the open house, McCormick, one of 12 golfers competing on the new season of “Big Break Atlantis” premiering May 14 and airing Monday nights at 9 p.m. Eastern on Golf Channel, will sign autographs for fans, mingle with guests and offer tips to improve golfers’ games. McCormick will work as an instructor at Reston’s Nike Golf Learning Center this summer.

Currently based in Reston, McCormick took up the game at age 18 and quickly blossomed into a formidable golfer. On full scholarship at Daytona State College, she was a member of its 2003 NJCAA National Championship team. McCormick played for five years on mini-tours and the LPGA developmental tour, and recently re-discovered her passion for the game.
