Top-ranked course offers online tee times, enhanced user experience

(COPPEROPOLIS, Calif.) – Saddle Creek Resort – the award-winning golf community in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Calaveras County – has launched a new website featuring online tee times and a hole-by-hole tour with audio commentary.

Located two hours from the Bay Area and 1.5 hours from Sacramento, Saddle Creek Resort is home to 18 holes of championship golf with several tee boxes offering vistas of nearby Yosemite National Park.

The recently unveiled website offers Northern California golfers and visitors to the region the option to book online up to 21 days in advance. Users can browse current course conditions and sort tee times by date, number of players, price and time of day.

“We are excited to launch our new website and offer avid golfers the flexibility and convenience of booking online,” says Bob Higgins, Saddle Creek General Manager. “It features a stimulating, virtual tour of each hole to better educate players about the layout.”

A course preview with audio details and high-resolution imagery is provided by John Abendroth and Mitch Juricich, hosts of the Bay Area’s “Hooked on Golf” weekly radio show. They offer detailed insight and course management tips to conquer Saddle Creek’s demanding but elegant design, where no two holes run parallel to each other.

About Saddle Creek Resort

Situated in the rolling foothills of the Central Sierra region just two hours from the Bay Area and 1.5 hours from Sacramento, Saddle Creek Resort is located in the heart of the Copper Valley in Copperopolis. Golfers will discover stunning vistas of the towering Sierra Nevada Mountains to the east, while an ethereal collection of shimmering lakes, native trees, indigenous grasses and 100 bunkers provides a challenging, thought-provoking experience from tee to green. To create an atmosphere of tranquility and isolation, golf course architect Carter Morrish devised a routing in which no two holes run parallel to each other.

In proximity to Saddle Creek Resort is Copperopolis Town Square, a traditionally-designed, Gold Rush era-themed “country town” that is the retail and event hub of the Copper Valley in the Central Sierra region. Featuring charming boutiques, eateries and specialty shops, the pedestrian-friendly Town Square is the perfect place to spend some time after a round of golf.
