More than 95 stores to implement free one-day clinics & custom fitting sessions
for drivers, fairways and hybrids
FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla., May 16, 2012…Edwin Watts Golf Shops (EWGS), one of the world’s largest specialty golf retailers with over 95 locations, today announced that drivers, fairways and hybrids are the theme of a chain-wide clinic scheduled for Saturday, May 19. As part of the specialty retailers’ monthly clinic series, golfers of all abilities can visit any of the 95+ locations to participate in clinics, test out the newest products and experience custom fitting sessions.
Edwin Watts Golf store associates, the “Watts Guys,” and field representatives from the leading equipment brands will utilize the Company’s in-store launch monitors and swing analysis software to conduct custom fitting sessions, matching golfers of all abilities with equipment that will help improve their game. Store associates will be available to educate consumers on the importance of custom fitting, and reinforce the benefits of playing with properly fit clubs, whether you are an elite player or a newcomer to the game.
The driver, fairway and hybrid clinic, which comes on the heels of the April iron tune-up day, is part of Edwin Watts Golf’s clinic series that was created to make the 2012 golf season one of true game improvement, while offering a new theme each month that covers an important aspect of the game. Golfers of all ages and skill levels are invited to visit a local store and participate in interactive activities such as swing analysis, performance club fitting sessions, contests and much more. Additionally, golfers purchasing select drivers at $199 or more will receive 25% off a qualifying fairway or hybrid.
