(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) – Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday has entered into a marketing partnership with Oxford Golf bringing one of the game’s leading apparel companies to the Golf.com World Amateur Handicap Championship in Myrtle Beach, Aug. 27 – 31.
As part of the partnership, every participant of the 29th annual event will receive a tournament-logoed Oxford Golf shirt. Oxford Golf will have the opportunity to sell merchandise on-site in the vendor pavilion, and provide promotional items to participants and volunteers as well.
The tournament is expected to attract more than 3,000 players from all 50 states and more than 25 foreign countries. Registration is available at www.worldamgolf.com
“Oxford Golf produces some of the best performance shirts on the market,” said Bill Golden, president of Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday. “We are thrilled to have them as part of our team, and the Oxford Golf shirt will be a great addition to the World Am gift bag.”
2012 has already been a banner year for Oxford Golf. After launching www.OxfordGolf.com — a consumer direct Web store in March – they have also expanded its collegiate apparel line and pro-shop presence. The Golf.com World Amateur Handicap Championship will be yet another ideal venue to introduce Oxford Golf to new clientele. At the tournament, Oxford Golf will have the ability to put a new shirt in the hands of all 3,000+ participants, giving players the opportunity to discover their new favorite golf shirt.
