SEATTLE (May 17, 2012) – Jake Rawson, who joined Cutter & Buck 13 years ago, has been named the new global director of sales, golf.
For the past year, Rawson has served as global account manager for Cutter & Buck’s golf division, overseeing the company’s partnerships with key accounts as well as international licensees and distributors. Prior to that, he spent more than five years as national account executive supporting Cutter & Buck’s efforts with golf management groups.
“Jake’s tenure with Cutter & Buck and years of experience in the golf industry will be invaluable as he leads the Cutter & Buck golf division into the future,” said Jens Petersson, CEO “Jake has excelled in the many positions he has held over the years at Cutter & Buck and I’m confident he will continue to bring that same level of excellence to this new role.”
Rawson replaces Anne Broholm, who has been named chief executive officer of Ahead, a headwear and apparel company owned by Sweden’s New Wave Group AB, which counts Cutter & Buck among its corporate portfolio. Broholm had been with Cutter & Buck since 2005.
Rawson began at Cutter & Buck in July of 1999 as an international account coordinator before taking over two years later as tournament sales representative for the company’s golf division. During his time as a sales representative Rawson was the recipient of the 2003 Opportunity Award and the 2004 Elite Award.
Rawson earned his degree in business administration from American Intercontinental University.
