Oakland County golfers gain access to program with 95 percent success rate
Centennial, Colo. (May 23, 2012) – GolfTEC, the world leader in golf improvement, has opened the doors to its newest high-tech improvement center in Novi, Mich., located on Crescent Boulevard, near the Novi Town Center, inside Golfsmith.
Featuring GolfTEC’s proprietary g-SWING teaching software as well as the new Foresight GC2 launch monitor and ball tracking system, the GolfTEC center will provide golfers in the Oakland County area year-round instruction, as well as club-fitting service and equipment analysis. Golfers also are invited to take a tour of the new facility during the Grand Opening Celebration on the weekend of June 1-3.
GolfTEC has more than 160 improvement centers in North America and has en more than 3.5 million lessons since 1995. All lessons are taught one-on-one in private, indoor bays that maximize the learning experience. GolfTEC utilizes state-of-the-art teaching technology and the skills of its Certified Personal Coaches to help golfers improve their skills and increase their enjoyment of the game.
Part of the 30,000 square foot Golfsmith facility, the Novi GolfTEC center is under the direction of Stan Sall, the 2011 GolfTEC National Coach of the Year, for giving more than 2,600 lessons. Sall, a native of nearby South Lyon, has been involved in the local golf community for more than 15 years.
One of three PGA of America members on the Novi GolfTEC staff, Sall will be joined at the Novi center by Andrew Moog, an accomplished competitor in the Michigan PGA Section and former teaching professional at Detroit Golf Club, along with Justin Lauer, who comes to GolfTEC from the Gateway Golf Club.
The team of coaches will use the company’s proven Proven Path to deliver maximum improvement and lasting results to players of all ages and abilities.
GolfTEC’s g-SWING system combines digital video with motion measurement, capturing body positions at 24 different points throughout the swing. A simple RED-YELLOW-GREEN display guides instruction and reinforces swing changes.
But the lesson doesn’t end at the center’s doors. Using the personalized, online Player Performance Center, students can review their lessons – including full video and the coach’s instructions-anytime and anywhere over the internet.
“We’re incredibly excited about our new location in Novi,” Sall said. “GolfTEC has been around for more than 15 years and has been helping people play their best golf for that entire time. We look forward to working with passionate golfers from throughout Oakland County.”
The new Novi GolfTEC improvement center is just east of Novi Road, between Interstate 96 and Grand River Avenue. Call (248) 429-1600, or visit the website.
