Golf Leaders Gather For California Alliance For Golf General Assembly Meeting On May 31

Ontario, CA- The California Alliance for Golf (CAG) has scheduled its 2012 General Assembly Meeting for Thurs. May 31 at the Ayres Hotel & Suites-Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, CA. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss items of key interest to the California golf industry and the citizens it serves.

The General Assembly Meeting will commence at 1:00 p.m. with a projected adjournment at 3:00 p.m. It will be preceded by a CAG board of directors meeting at 10:00 a.m. “This meeting provides a platform for golf leaders to convene and discuss items which are critical to the future of the game and business of golf,” shared CAG President Tom Addis III. “Golf in California is more than a sport; it is a viable industry which contributes to the betterment of our state through expansive job offerings, charitable giving, and an ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship as well as life skill-based programs for the next generation of Californians.”

The California Alliance for Golf (CAG) is a 501 c-6 trade association fully committed to representing the golf industry throughout the state. The alliance serves as an educational resource for the industry and its primary mission is to communicate to the public the economic benefits and environmental stewardship efforts provided through the game and business of golf.

For those planning to attend the meeting lunch will be served at noon. Board members and general assembly members are encouraged to attend.
