GREENVILLE, SC (May 31, 2012) – With many of the top regional and national golf magazines in the country on display throughout the week, GolfStyles, the cutting edge regional magazine based on the East Coast of America, won the prestigious “Best Publication in Conference” award from the International Network of Golf.
Each year at its Spring Conference the International Network of Golf asks its attendees to vote on the best publication on display at the conference. Attendees have all week to peruse the many golf publications. This year the vote went to GolfStyles, which had its Spring 2012 ‘Joining the Club’ issue on display.
Among the many features in that issue was an assessment of the private club market and the great values that are presented to today’s golfer, as opposed to the inflated prices of 15 years ago.
In addition, GolfStyles presented its annual Product Review section, presenting information and analysis of the hottest products that caught the attention of the golf world at the annual PGA Merchandise Show in Florida.
Other popular features in that issue included “History’s Greatest Players You Don’t Know” and travel features from around Maryland, Virginia and the Carolinas.
Finally, the issue included a humorous first person look at one golfer’s year-long experiment with the new yellow golf ball — and the reactions of other golfers.
For 15 years GolfStyles has been a leader in the regional golf magazine market, with a reputation for fresh, edgy and often controversial editorial content, as well as some of the most innovative and memorable covers in the industry. GolfStyles has a print and digital circulation of 617,599 in seven regions.
