ORLANDO, Fla. (May 31, 2012) – Golf Channel announced today several promotions within its new media sales force for GolfNow.com, the Internet’s largest and most comprehensive tee-time booking service.
Mike Hendrix (Midwest region), Stacey Oleck (Mid-Atlantic region) and Jonathan Vassil (Northeast region) have been promoted to the positions of senior director of sales.
Hendrix, a Columbus, Ohio, resident, has been with Golf Channel since 2008, and will continue to oversee sales operations, business development and golf course relationship management for multiple states in the Midwest. Oleck has held multiple golf and digital sponsorship sales positions for Golf Channel, most recently as regional sales director for the Mid-Atlantic region. In her expanded role, Oleck will continue to oversee the Mid-Atlantic region from her Washington, D.C., office and also assist with business development for two of GolfNow’s newest territories, Ireland and Scotland. Vassil, hired by Golf Channel in 2010 to oversee the expansion and development of GolfNow in the Northeast region, will continue to oversee the Northeast, which includes the addition of Quebec to the GolfNow platform.
Golf Channel also has announced that Maury Adcock (Atlanta), Brooke Bendler (West Palm Beach, Daytona Beach, Cancun and Bermuda), Jessica Elkins (Orlando and Central Florida), Dan Hardy (Chicago), Shawn Lally (Detroit) and Mike Lynch (North Florida / South Georgia) all have been promoted to senior market sales managers for their respective GolfNow markets. The senior market sales managers will continue to oversee GolfNow’s sales and management for the golf courses currently registered with the tee-times service. In addition, they will mentor the market sales managers and course sales associates in their regions, work closely with their senior regional directors on communications and develop new business strategies to help grow the game.
