GREENVILLE, SC – Avid Golf chose the 22nd Annual ING Spring Conference as a launch pad for its’ new swing training product, the Swedge. Attendees at the conference at the Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort last week were among the first to see this new product.
And if their response is any indication, the Swedge will be a huge hit.
Avid Golf’s Swedge won the ING Conference Best honors in the Products category, determined by vote of conference attendees.
In the Publications category, Golfstyles Magazine-Philadelphia was voted No. 1 by attendees.
The ING Spring Conference is conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf. The annual gathering of media and business leaders was conducted at the recently renovated Embassy Suites and The Preserve at Verdae Golf Club.
Products and publications being exhibited at the conference are eligible to win the ING Conference Best award. Attendees voted throughout the week on the product and publication that they felt were best at the conference.
The Swedge helps focus your attention on keeping your arm in proper position, correcting several swing flaws simultaneously – no more “flying elbow.” You place the Swedge under your armpit, apply pressure toward the Swedge with your arm and elbow during the backswing, then strike the ball and release The Swedge.
“There were many outstanding products launched at ING, so for the Swedge to be considered No. 1 by the attendees means a great deal to me,” said Dana Clark of Avid Golf. “Thanks so much to everyone who voted for us.”
Golfstyles has been publishing its golf and lifestyle magazine for 19 years. It currently has four regional editions: Washington D.C., Ohio, New Jersey and Philadelphia, the winning edition for which Tony Leodora is editor.
