NORTHBROOK, Ill., June 4, 2012 – The National Golf Foundation (NGF) announced its tenth annual Customer Loyalty Awards, and three KemperSports properties earned top honors. Six facilities with the highest overall customer satisfaction were honored by NGF. Three of the properties recognized are managed by KemperSports. Based on NGF customer satisfaction research in 2011, Sand Creek Station Golf Club in Newton, Kan. was the top performer in overall customer satisfaction for facilities with green fees under $70. This was the fourth consecutive year that Sand Creek Station has received this award. Butterfield Trail Golf Course in El Paso, Texas and The Wilderness At Fortune Bay in Tower, Minn. both received runner-up honors for overall customer satisfaction for facilities with green fees over $70.
KemperSports emphasizes best-in-class customer service at all of its facilities utilizing its proprietary customer-focused training program True Service™ to encourage all staff to deliver great experiences.
“We believe these award winners exemplify our commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all of our properties,” said Steve Skinner, chief executive officer for KemperSports. “The primary objective of True Service is to create happy and loyal customers, and the results of the National Golf Foundation Customer Satisfaction Awards are a true indication that our staff is dedicated to providing the best golf experience and customer service for our guests.”
These customer satisfaction awards are based on surveys fielded through NGF’s Customer Satisfaction programs. Scoring for this program is heavily based on customer responses to the course’s friendliness of staff, overall experience, value, condition of course, amenities, scenery and aesthetics.
KemperSports properties have earned multiple honors in the NGF Customer Loyalty Awards every year since the awards were first announced in 2001. Past winners include Sand Creek Station Golf Club (2008, 2009, 2010), The Wilderness at Fortune Bay (2006, 2008, 2009), Newport Dunes Golf Club (2009) and Butterfield Trail Golf Course (2008).
