The Resort at Tapatio Springs (http://www.tapatio.com) is located in the Texas Hill Country in Boerne, Texas some 30 miles from downtown San Antonio. Often named among the top courses in Texas, Tapatio Springs features 27 holes of championship golf. Dramatic elevation changes and spectacular water hazards were incorporated by course architect Bill Johnston to create a layout that is as unique and beautiful as the Hill Country itself.

The property at Tapatio Springs was originally developed in 1981, incorporating the area’s limestone cliffs, towering oak trees and clear springs into a quaint and intimate golf resort for visitors and local residents. In the 1990s, the executive nine-hole course and 6,000 square-foot conference center was added to the properties list of fine amenities, which also includes dining venues serving continental cuisine and local specialties. The clubhouse features a fully equipped golf shop, outdoor dining areas, men’s and women’s locker rooms and fitness center as well.
“George and I have invested quite a bit of time considering the future management of this jewel of a resort,” said Cusick. “We quickly determined that we needed the best in the business, so selecting Troon was a natural fit.
