Ranked No. 1 in Michigan, Top 10 Finisher Based on Three-Year Revenue Growth

(TRAVERSE CITY, MI) – Dancin’ Dogg Golf – maker of the award-winning OptiShot Infrared Simulator, the ultimate in-home virtual golf system – confirms that it has been honored as one of the Midwest’s fastest-growing companies as part of the 2012 Flyover 50 Awards.

Ranked first among Michigan-based companies, Dancin’ Dogg placed ninth overall. Created by Five Elms Capital, the Flyover 50 recognizes entrepreneurial achievement based on three-year revenue growth among firms throughout the Midwest with 2011 revenue of more than $1 million. The awards will be presented to companies from a wide variety of industries during the 2012 ACG Mid-America Corporate Growth Conference, June 7 in Kansas City, MO.

“We are committed to building a highly successful global enterprise that fulfills the great promise of the modern Midwest,” says Dancin’ Dogg CEO Brandon Theophilus. “This recognition further validates our philosophy of using leading-edge technologies to create a truly affordable and accurate in-home golf simulator.”

In addition to this latest honor, Dancin’ Dogg Golf ranked No. 358 on the prestigious Inc. 500 list of America’s fast-growing entrepreneurial companies based on 951.2% revenue growth from 2007 through 2010.

OptiShot ($399.95) connects with Windows computers via a plug-and-play interface and requires only 8-1/2 feet of swing space. Up to four players per round can compete by hitting real balls, foam balls (provided) or no ball at all. Infrared sensors on a durable swing pad provide precise analysis for each shot and detailed statistics tracking that can be exported to an Excel spreadsheet.

In addition to Core courses that come with the system, OptiShot users can purchase a wide range of premium layouts ($49.95), including replicas of major championship venues and PGA Tour sites such as Atlanta Highlands, Capitol Club, Cogs Corner, Golden Gate Club, Jones Lake, Melbourne Golf Club, Monterey Classic, Old Scot, Ponte Vedra, Royal St. Marks and Whispering Dunes.
