Los Angeles, CA — Ascendant European Tour star Robert Rock is the latest pro golfer to sign an exclusive partnership with colourful glove maker G/Fore. The three-year agreement will see Rock — or “Rocky” as he’s commonly known — exclusively wear G/Fore gloves on the course. Additionally, G/Fore will release the signature ‘Rocky Collection’ of neon-accented white gloves in August.
“The G/Fore glove is the best glove I have worn for style, feel and fit,” says Rock, who kicked off the year by winning the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. “Colour is becoming increasingly popular in golf and I’m delighted to be leading the revolution for G/Fore in Europe.”
On both sides of the pond, G/Fore gloves have quickly gained a reputation for combining style and performance – just as they were designed to do. “Vibrant colours and the finest quality materials and craftsmanship are the things we based G/Fore on,” says founder-designer Mossimo Giannulli. “Rocky embodies the young, talented, aggressive and colourful persona which aligns well with G/FORE’s aesthetic and reflects our commitment to putting out a stylish product that delivers on the course.”
Available starting in August on www.g-fore.com and in retail locations worldwide, the Rocky Collection features white AA Cabretta leather gloves with a white patent tab, neon logo and neon contrast stitching. The line offers five accent colour options: neon green, neon orange, neon blue, neon pink and neon yellow.
Since debuting its colourful line at the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida, G/FORE has become the glove maker of choice for a wide range of stylish golfers — from professionals (like Ricky Barnes, Alex Cejka, Rick Smith and Tommy Armour III) to celebrities (including Wayne Gretzky, Bill Murray and Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill) to weekend warriors and clubhouse regulars alike.
