SAN DIEGO (June 7, 2012) – Lamkin Grips has signed Osaka, Japan-based H&R Trading as its primary distributor of golf grips throughout Asia. According to CEO Bob Lamkin, this new partnership marks yet another milestone in Lamkin’s ongoing efforts to expand worldwide distribution.
H&R Trading is the distribution division of the IOMIC Corporation of Japan. With a well-developed network of sales partners throughout the continent, H&R has achieved notable success with sales of IOMIC golf grips. Upon its June 2012 transition to H&R’s distribution channel, Lamkin will begin introducing new grip sizes, weights and colors created exclusively for the Asian market – a move based on successful collaborations with H&R executives.
“We are extremely confident this partnership will provide Lamkin with the opportunity to more effectively penetrate the critical Asian golf market,” Lamkin explains. “H&R is ideally positioned to provide enhanced service and support to both new and current Lamkin customers. This level of support is difficult for us to match from 10,000 miles, and more than 12 time zones, away”.
