RIP®, NV VooDoo® Help Aldila Capture FedEx St. Jude Classic & Nordea Masters Victories

POWAY, Calif. – Benefiting from Aldila’s RIP® shafts in his 3 and 5 woods, the winner of the FedEx St. Jude Classic picked up his sixth PGA Tour victory in just his second PGA Tour start after returning from an 11-week injury hiatus. The South Carolina native shot a 9-under 271 (70-68-67-66) to win by one stroke.

“Tour players continue to trust Aldila’s RIP Technology™ (Reverse Interlaminar Placement) because it provides them with lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “Aldila (www.aldila.com) engineers employed patent-pending technology and exclusive materials to completely transform the RIP’s shaft design from the inside out providing players with shot control.”

It was Aldila’s NV VooDoo® that helped the winner of the European Tour’s Nordea Masters pick up his 40th professional career victory. The #3 player in the Official World Golf Ranking carded a 19-under-par 269 (68-64-68-69) to win by five strokes and notch his third Nordea Masters title.

The NV VooDoo® has the same outstanding features of the original VooDoo but with the flex profile and incredible feel of the Aldila NV. The secret is Aldila’s S-core (Stabilized Core) Technology, an innovative rib structure that runs the length of the shaft increasing hoop strength/stiffness. It’s designed to maximize energy transfer to the golf ball, yielding unparalleled distance and accuracy with each swing.

For the 24th consecutive week, “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” dominated the wood shaft manufacturer competition on the PGA Tour. Aldila had 28 more wood shafts and 7 more hybrid shafts in play at the FedEx St. Jude Classic than the next leading shaft manufacturer, according to the Darrell Survey.

Aldila catapults power to an unprecedented level. High performance technology harnessed and perfected from a special blend of materials, design and expertise. They are continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
