July 16 golf marathon benefitting San Diego-based Ì¢?å¬After School All-Stars and North County Junior Golf Association
(OCEANSIDE, CA) – LINKSOUL announces that Chief Creative Officer John Ashworth will participate in the inaugural Hundred Hole Hike, walking and playing more than 100 holes on July 16 to benefit the San Diego-Based After School All-Stars and North County Junior Golf Association.
Ashworth – the iconic golf-lifestyle apparel designer who previously created the Ashworth and Fidra brands – is striving to reach his goal of completing 108 holes on Center City Golf Course at Goat Hill, which is widely recognized as San Diego’s oldest layout.
“I’m honored and excited to combine golf with the opportunity to raise money for kids in need,” says Ashworth. “This is a real challenge for the mind and body, and I hope my legs can make it!”

“It’s outstanding to count John among the society of dedicated men and women using their passion for the game as a vehicle to better the lives of others,” says Hundred Hole Hike founder Jim Colton. “He’s selected two stellar organizations with a proven track record of helping the greater San Diego community.”
After School All-Stars provides free, daily comprehensive programs that keep middle school youth safe while helping them achieve academically and in life. It offers a range of activities during out of school hours with a focus on nurturing minds, bodies and spirits. These incorporate health and fitness, independent learning and enrichment opportunities.
A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the North County Junior Golf Association’s mission is to make junior golf fun, affordable and accessible for parents and junior golfers alike. Since 1967, North County Junior Golf has organized tournaments and clinics for golfers of all skill levels.
About Hundred Hole Hike
Hundred Hole Hike (HHH) is a global network of golf marathons where participants plan to walk and play 100 or more holes in one day to raise money for various worthwhile charitable causes. It includes events at many courses ranked among the Top 100 by leading golf publications.
Managed by One Divot – a charity that aims to help change the world for the better one divot at a time – HHH is inspired by the success of the Ben Cox 155. Launched in 2011 at Ballyneal Golf & Hunt Club in Holyoke, CO, that event saw club member Jim Colton walk 155 holes in one day and raise more than $110,000 for Cox, a Ballyneal caddie paralyzed in a skiing accident.
The goal of the Hundred Hole Hike is to take the same passion and energy that fueled the Ben Cox 155 to a grander scale. Instead of one golfer at one club for one cause, the HHH includes golfers at clubs worldwide, all walking to raise money for a variety of worthwhile causes.
