Missoula, Montana – Sun Mountain is proud to be the official outerwear provider for The Arctic Open Golf Championship 2012 being held at the Akureyri Golf Club in Iceland June 28 – 30.
This international event attracts hundreds of golfers from across the world and offers the unique opportunity to golf around the clock thanks to the nearly 24 hours of daylight at this northernmost golf course in the world.

The women’s Second Layer jacket is a lightweight, thermal pullover made from a soft, stretch knit polyester with comfortable, seamless shoulders. The women’s Alpine Vest is a windproof, quilted vest with a Teflon® coating for water and stain resistance. Alpine Vest offers a slim-cut and zippered hand warmer pockets.
Founded in 1935, the Akureyri Golf Club is the northernmost golf course in the world and currently has 600 members who enjoy the 6,400 yard championship 18-hole course. The Arctic Open Golf Championship was first held in 1986.
