The Champions Tour made a stop in Pittsburgh, PA and a player using a SuperStroke belly grip was near the top all week. The 7-time Champions Tour winner finished T4 for the event, highlighted by his second round 63 where he rolled in 8 birdies with his 21″ black/white grip. This player, a former Masters Champion, currently leads the PGA Tour in Strokes-Gained with a 1.407.
The European Tour made a stop at Royal Portrush GC, site of this year’s Irish Open. Using a SuperStroke Fatso, an English born player was able to claim his first top 5 finish for 2012. The Fatso, 1.67″ in diameter, is the largest offering in the SuperStroke grip line-up.
SuperStroke jumbo putter grips were also played by a T15 player at the AT&T Championship at Congressional CC. For the week, 4 top 15 finishes were earned worldwide, continuing to prove that SuperStroke grip technology is #1 on the PGA Tour.
Total won in 2012 (to date): $18.3 Million
