GOLF Magazine Top-100 Instructor to Host Three Days of Clinics with Stay-and-Play Package Option
(WORLEY, ID) – Circling Raven Golf Club – the highly acclaimed amenity course of the newly expanded Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel located in the Northern Idaho Panhandle – is offering Golf Academy clinics taught by former PGA TOUR professional Brian Mogg on July 20, Aug. 17 and Sept. 7.
Set in small groups, Mogg will teach a half-day school concentrating on the short game, full swing and putting while also utilizing a video analysis. Each four-hour clinic costs $299 and includes unlimited use of the practice facility and a voucher for a free round of golf at Circling Raven, which is consistently rated as one of the top courses in the country by Golf Digest, Golf World and GOLF Magazine. Participants can add a one-night stay in the resort’s new hotel wing for an additional $100.
“Brian is one of the top instructors in the country and his clinics at Circling Raven will give golfers of all skill levels the chance to improve their game and understand the fundamentals,” said Director of Golf Tom Davidson, PGA. “The clinics are set in small groups so participants will be given quality one-on-one instruction from a veteran teacher who will adjust his teaching style to fit the needs of each individual.”
A Tacoma, Wash. native, Mogg played 10 years of professional golf and three years on the PGA TOUR where he finished third in the 2001 Callaway Pebble Beach Invitational. In 2002, he created the Brian Mogg Performance Center at Keene’s Pointe in Orlando, Fla., a Jack Nicklaus Signature facility. Mogg was named to Golf Digest’s 50 Best Teachers in America 2011-2012 list.
The Gene Bates-designed Circling Raven Golf Club is within a short, scenic drive from the Spokane Airport (GEG) and sits next to the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel, which recently underwent its seventh renovation, adding 100 opulent guest rooms, a fitness center, 15,000 square-foot spa and gourmet steak house.

About Circling Raven Golf Club and Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort & Hotel

The resort spans the western edge of the northern Rocky Mountains. Tribal history tells us that Circling Raven was a spiritually powerful leader, his name coming from his close relationship to the raven, who helped guide him on his journeys, warn him of danger and show him where to find fish and game.
The newly expanded Coeur d’Alene Casino offers 1,800 machines for play in smoking and non-smoking areas, off-track betting for horse and dog races, high-stakes bingo, entertainment and many other amenities.
