July 10, 2012

(Riviera Beach, FL: July 9, 2012)- IJP Design is pleased to announce the launch of the “Quintessentially British” specially designed limited edition putter covers to mark The Open Championship, July 19th -22nd at Royal Lytham & St. Anne’s. This is the third in a series of four specifically designed putter covers created especially for each of this season’s majors.

Designed by Ian Poulter himself, the “Quintessentially British” covers feature distinctive British landmarks such as double-decker buses, traditional British phone booths and Big Ben. IJP Design is offering only 750 of these limited edition covers each with their own individually signed and numbered silver tag. Each cover, available in both mallet and blade style, comes with a red IJP Design ball marker and protective lined tote bag. The “Quintessentially British” covers, $69.95 each, are available at www.ijpdesign.com.

“There is a real buzz building around this year’s Open Championship and with Ian playing in his home country, it seemed a natural fit to include Ian’s sketches of these iconic landmarks,” said Mark Truby, Managing Director of IJP Design. “We wanted to recognize and support this great British sporting event with a British themed limited edition putter cover.”

More information on these putter covers as well as additional IJP VIP information is available through the IJP Clubhouse at www.ijpusa.com. “The IJP Clubhouse is packed with first-hand news on IJP products, special VIP insider information on Ian and what IJP clothes he is wearing and information about promotions and competitions,” stated Truby.

About IJP Design

Ian Poulter launched IJP Design in 2007 after being unable to find clothes he wanted to wear on the golf course that both looked good and performed well, combining high quality tailoring with technical perfection. IJP Design has created a name for itself as a unique and exciting golf and lifestyle brand with a fashionable edge. The IJP Design brand philosophy is to ‘lead with the legs’ by designing the trousers first and then coordinating the rest of the outfit around them. As such, the Poulter Tartan is also one of the key elements of the IJP Design brand and all the bespoke Poulter Tartans are licensed with the Scottish Tartan Authority. The Spring/Summer 2012 collection is the label’s 10th collection and by the end of the year will be stocked in all 30 golf playing nations around the world.
