Anaheim, CA- In this 2012 PGA Tour season MATRIX Shafts continues to outpace the 2011 campaign by achieving remarkable gains. MATRIX has increased its shaft count in 83% of the tournaments so far for this year. As MATRIX continues to cater to what the PGA Tour players are asking for and creating designs such as the OZIK Black Tie M3, OZIK Altus and the OZIK TP7HD, we are continuing to see winning results week after week. Not all of these gains are due to newly released products. Although the longest tenured on tour, the OZIK Altus is one shaft in particular that has stood out this year, having been the most used shaft eight times on the PGA Tour so far, most recently at the Greenbrier Classic. This is an exciting time for MATRIX Shafts as we continue to see winning results on the PGA Tour and are now expanding our reach into the European Tour starting this week at the Scottish Open.
“MATRIX Shafts has had an exceptional year thus far and I am proud of all the hard work from the MATRIX team,” said Director of Tour Operations Joe Miera. “As we continue to cater to what the players are asking for and create winning products, I am confident we will continue to see great things as we finish out the PGA Tour season.”
