MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Companies who can sell directly to their customers will not find a more willing audience than the 5,000-plus people with will participate in the Golf Expo portion of the 29th Annual Golf.Com World Amateur Handicap Championship in Myrtle Beach, SC Aug. 27-31.
Approximately 3,000 golfers will converge on the Grand Strand to compete in the largest on-site amateur golf tournament in the world. The 72-hole tournament will take place on nearly 60 courses, and following each round the players and their guests attend the World’s Largest 19th Hole at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The Golf Expo is one of several activities at the World’s Largest 19th Hole.
As exhibitors in the Golf Expo portion each night, companies can sell directly to approximately 5,000 people at the convention center. The World Am attracts players from every state in the U.S.A. and over a dozen foreign countries.
“We have always found the World Am Golf Expo to be very successful for our company,” said Vice President Michael Vandiver of Razor Golf, an equipment company based near Tampa, FL. “There is not a better audience – they are all competitive golfers. And it is always proves to be a memorable week. We haven’t missed a World Am in over 10 years.”
