‘The Hottest Shafts In Golf’ dominates wood, hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at John Deere Classic

POWAY, Calif. – With the help of Aldila’s VS Proto™ shaft in his 3 Wood, the winner of the Utah Championship came from behind to post his second victory on the Web.com Tour. He finished with a -15-under 269 and claimed a first place check for $99,000. With those winnings, he jumped from 92nd to 14th spot on the 2012 Web.com Tour Top 25 Money List. At the end of this season, the Top 25 players on the money list automatically earn their PGA Tour card for the following season.

On the PGA Tour Aldila once again dominated the wood and hybrid shaft manufactuer counts, according to the Darrell Survey. When the first ball was struck at the John Deere Classic, Aldila had 35 more wood shafts in play and 19 more hybrid shafts in play than the next leading shaft manufactuer. Led by their latest RIP (Reverse Interlaminar Placement) Technology, Aldila has won both counts 28 times in 30 PGA events this season.

One of the latest additions to their RIP series is the Phenom, which integrates Aldila’s Tour proven RIP Technology® with a unique shaft design to create a new and innovative flex profile for maximum distance and control known as the Hyperbolic Flex Zone. The new technology features a stiff tip section for optimal launch and spin control with a very firm butt section for an incredible stable feel, while the center section of the shaft is softer to provide unmatched kick through impact for maximum ball speed.

“The Hottest Shafts In Golf” recently incorporated their cutting edge RIP Technology into its iron shafts. At the John Deere Classic four players had Aldila’s new prototype RIP irons in play, which was up 3 from the previous week. Of the four players, one has finished in the top 10 five times since switching to the new prototype irons.

Aldila catapults power to an unprecedented level. High performance technology harnessed and perfected from a special blend of materials, design and expertise. They are continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
