MEMPHIS, Tenn. – With winning accuracy and consistency, Dynamic Gold, Grafalloy and Project X shafts by True Temper Sports combined to dominate the wins on the PGA and Web.com Tours this weekend. Dynamic Gold clipped the competition at the John Deer Classic on the PGA Tour, while Project X and Grafalloy landed the victory at the Utah Championship on the Web.com Tour.
In the final round on Sunday, the John Deere Classic moved into sudden death playoff with both players using Dynamic Gold. The drama was short-lived as the champion clinched his second PGA Tour win of the year with a birdie which included an incredible 193-yard Dynamic Gold 6-iron approach from the bunker that landed just inches from the cup.
On the Web.com Tour, the winner of the Utah Championship mustered 18th-hole Project X heroics on Sunday to avoid a five-man playoff. He earned the win with Project X in all of his irons and a Grafalloy ProLaunch in his driver.
“Week after week in 2012, we’re seeing incredibly tough and exciting competition among the best players in the world,” says Scott Hennessy, president and CEO of True Temper Sports. “More than ever, the difference between winning and not winning is a small margin and the accuracy and consistency of golf shafts is making all the difference.”
