Singh Wins on European Tour with a Complement of Callaway Golf Equipment
CARLSBAD, Calif., July 16, 2012 – Callaway Golf (NYSE: ELY) announced that its Staff Professional Jeev Milkha Singh battled the wind and cold to win the Scottish Open in a playoff at Castle Stuart Golf Links on Sunday. Overcoming a five-shot deficit in the final round to claim his fourth European Tour title, Jeev Milkha Singh carried Callaway equipment, including the Company’s RAZR Fit™ driver and HEX Black Tour™ golf ball. Singh’s victory in Inverness, Scotland comes just weeks after fellow Callaway Staffer Danny Willett won in the wind and rain in Cologne, underscoring the exceptional performance combination of Callaway’s award-winning RAZR drivers and its HEX Black Tour golf ball, especially in demanding weather conditions.
