(July 16th, 2012 – Coral Springs, FL) – Caddy For A Cure, Inc., the professional golf program that offers opportunities to go inside the ropes and caddy for a day with the world’s best players, announces two opportunities for the SAFEWAY CLASSIC presented by Coca Cola. Up for auction are opportunities to caddy for LPGA superstar Lexi Thompson or LPGA Major winner Stacy Lewis during the Pro am rounds preceding competition. “We are thrilled to participate again with this unique program that directly supports the charitable mission of the LPGA tournaments,” states Gail Graham, retired LPGA professional and president of the LPGA Tournament Owners Association. “We are always looking for ways to get closer to our fans and this is a perfect and unique way to accomplish that, particularly with players as popular as Lexi and Stacy. This tournament is always exciting, so it’s a great venue for participating with Caddy For A Cure.”
Caddy For A Cure CEO and program founder Russ Holden commented, “We are so pleased to be able to offer these opportunities with Lexi and Stacy. They are without a doubt two of the most exciting and fun players on the LPGA Tour and we know whoever wins either opportunity will have a day they will never forget.” He continued “We love offering these unique experiences in this part of the country as it not only allows us to support the local Portland community, we can showcase Portland based Emerick Construction, who is one of our sponsors and biggest supporters. The folks from Emerick have huge hearts and love to find creative ways to give back to their community and help others in need.” He concluded, “This is a fantastic opportunity for a golf fan to have the day of their golf life.”
