San Diego, CA: What started out as a 52 player field whittled down to 16 players who met last week at The Grand Golf Club in Del Mar California to play for the San Diego Chapter PGA Match Play title.
At the end, Ross Marcano came out ahead after defeating Bob Knee in the final match. He defeated Bruce Nakamura & Rick Johnson on Monday, July 09. And he defeated Chris Starkjohann & Bob Knee on Tuesday July 10. He was seeded 15th for the tournament.
“After two days of playing two matches, each day I didn’t feel too tired, which I attribute to my workouts with Jeremy Klinkhamer & FitGolf Performance Centers in San Diego” says Marcano. “I have learned a lot from working with Jeremy about my swing and how the body should work in the golf swing.”
“I’m proud of Ross. We’ve been working together really hard the last few years to get his body in “golf shape” says Klinhamer. “The work we’ve done is not only preventing injury it’s paying off only the golf course where it really counts for him.”
