Conshohocken, Pa FitGolf Performance Centers are half way to completing the golf fitness research they began at the beginning of this year. By the end of 2012, each FitGolf Performance Center is looking to reach 1000 research participants at their local center. The research being studied are the physical causes of back pain in relation to excessive body bend in golf.
“Across all the centers, the overall hypothesis for the National Study is that golfers with excessive pelvic and upper side bend, bend and rotation will experience lower back pain during practice and play,” says David Ostrow, CEO of FitGolf Performance Centers. “Each center that runs a participant through the research brings us closer to overall hypothesis. We are planning on continuing this research until the end of this year.”
The research is being done at the FitGolf Performance Centers across the county. To find a FitGolf center near you, visit http://fitgolf.com/locate.
