Scooter Pines partners with Daphne’s Headcovers
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Scooter Pines Holdings, LLC continues to extend its product line based around its golf ball character, Bogey Ballton, with a new head cover. The company has partnered with industry-leader, Daphne’s Headcovers, on the project.
The Bogey character plush club head cover has a suggested retail of $29.95. It is available for sale at www.BogeyTeesOff.com with 20 percent of proceeds of sales from this site being donated to junior golf initiatives.
“We want Bogey to touch hearts and transform lives through the game of golf. Anything that helps to get kids and families interested and involved in the game, is a hole-in-one,” said Scott Fuller, a partner with Scooter Pines Holdings. “The head cover offers another way for us to get Bogey’s message out to kids and adults alike. Ultimately, it’s all about having fun out on the course!”
Scooter Pines Holdings launched a series of children’s books featuring Bogey Ballton in early 2012. The first book, Bogey Tees Off: A Lesson About Being Truthful, was co-written by former LPGA star and current NBC/Golf Channel analyst Dottie Pepper and Fuller and illustrated by Kenneth Templeton. The company is planning a series of 18 books and is also developing additional products around the character.
