Three Myrtle Beach Area Golf Courses Ranked Among Golf Magazine’s ‘Top 100 Courses You Can Play’

17 Grand Strand layouts named in state-by-state rankings

(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) — Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday – the Grand Strand’s golf marketing cooperative – announces Caledonia Golf & Fish Club (No. 27), Dunes Golf & Beach Club (No. 47) and Barefoot Resort’s Love Course (No. 86) are ranked in GOLF Magazine’s biennial “Top 100 Courses You Can Play” in the U.S.

Additionally, 13 of the 20 named “Best You Can Play” in South Carolina are from Myrtle Beach:

• Caledonia Golf & Fish Club (No. 3)

• Dunes Golf & Beach Club (No. 4)

• Barefoot Resort (Love) (No. 6)

• Tidewater Plantation (No. 7)

• True Blue (No. 8)

• Barefoot Resort (Fazio) (No. 9)

• TPC Myrtle Beach (No. 10)

• Legends Golf & Resort (Heathland) (No. 13)

• Grande Dunes (No. 14)

• Barefoot Resort (Dye) (No. 16)

• Heritage Club (No. 17)

• Myrtle Beach International (King’s North) (No. 19)

• Pawley’s Planation (No. 20)

Several Grand Strand layouts were also ranked among the best courses in North Carolina, led by Leopard’s Chase (No. 8) and Tiger’s Eye (No. 10), both located at Ocean Ridge Plantation. Rivers Edge (No. 12) and Oyster Bay (No. 15) rounded out the quartet of area courses that are among the Tar Heel state’s top 20.
