Portland, Ore. (Aug 7, 2012) – Readers of great golf journalism will have their second-to-last shot at glory this week when The A Position releases its fourth Emagazine of 2012, covering The PGA Championship. The final edition of the Emagazine, previewing The Ryder Cup, will be released in September.

The PGA Championship edition will be emailed to 400,000 members of more than 20 state golf associations. The content will also be available at www.tourontap.com. The Emagazine contains stirring photos, original artwork, and eight stories and videos by the best writers and broadcasters in golf.

Highlights include renowned broadcaster Peter Kessler discussing the players who most need a win at Kiawah to crown, or redeem, their seasons; instructor Roberto Borgatti’s advice and video on achieving sand success-something sure to come in handy on The Ocean Course; British journalist James Mason’s handicapping the field; and award-winning writer Jeff Neuman’s controversial take on whether the PGA Championship should even be considered the fourth major.

Readers and visitors to tourontap.com will also have their own chance of scoring a win this week: golf and travel company PerryGolf is giving away a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Scotland, including rounds at such courses as Turnberry’s Ailsa, Prestwick, and Royal Dornoch, in addition to five-star lodging, ground transportation, and more. To win the trip as well as other prizes, register at www.perrygolf.com/win. In a separate giveaway, The A Position will award three lucky readers with signed artist’s prints of The Ocean Course at Kiawah by revered artist Graeme Baxter.

Jeff Wallach, publisher of The A Position’s Majors Emagazine series, says the company’s newest editorial product has finished strong following its debut for The 2012 Masters.

“We began with one pioneering golf association who believed this would be of great interest to its members. Now we have 20 golf associations on board and hope to land at least a few more for our final edition of the year-an eclectic preview of the Ryder Cup. The associations seem to appreciate the proprietary content by the world’s best golf journalists; it provides terrific added value that they can deliver to their members just when interest in these kinds of stories is at its highest right before the Major Championships.”

The A Position.com is a network of websites featuring the world’s best golf and travel writers. The term “The A Position” refers to the best place a golfer can land his tee shot. On the web, it refers to the site readers will want to land on for great golf and travel journalism.
