SALT LAKE CITY (August 6, 2012) – OGIO today announced that the company’s new Spring and Fall Golf Apparel collection has already exceeded its 2012 annual sales plan by 13 percent with five months left in the year. In addition, the new 2012 Fall Apparel Collection, which hit shelves on August 1, has already outsold its 2012 Spring Collection by 22%, with several months of selling remaining.
“OGIO has always been known for its ability to combine adrenaline-driven fashions with intelligent, performance inspired designs and materials” said OGIO Global Vice President, Tom Gocke. “We’ve delivered on that reputation and have already seen an increasing number of retailers requesting to carry our Fall ’12 and Spring ’13 lines.”
OGIO’s premiere golf apparel lines for men consist of more than 30 items that are infused with the company’s signature intelligent design. The performance-enhanced polos are made with mechanical stretch fabric, UV protection, moisture and bacterial control and anti-roll collars. In addition, the collection includes pants and shorts with articulated seams for better range of motion and gel gripper waistbands. The collection is rounded out with a variety of outerwear options with mechanical stretch fabric, wind and water resistance and unparalleled comfort.
“Our members were immediately drawn to OGIO’s first apparel collection because of the combination of style and function in each piece,” said Marcy Pelz, Apparel Buyer for the North Ranch Country Club.
“In just two weeks, we sold nearly our entire inventory. You can’t ask for much more success.”
In tandem with OGIO’s existing comprehensive golf and travel bag arsenal, golfers can now utilize OGIO as the definitive source for all their golfing needs. OGIO golf apparel is available at specialty golf retail locations nationwide.
