Loudmouth Golf designs custom pants for the William R. Meyn Foundation.
PGA Player and two-time major winner John Daly shows his support by wearing the custom pants during the PGA Championship.
Foster City, CA – August 10, 2012 – Loudmouth Golf, the leading brand in colorful sports and lifestyle apparel, has partnered with Please Save Another to benefit the William R. Meyn Foundation by creating custom image Loudmouth pants honoring the Foundation’s annual Don’t Fear The Finger (DFTF) Golf Tournament. The official DFTF pants debuted today when PGA Player and two-time Major Winner John Daly wore them while playing in the PGA Championship in South Carolina. Loudmouth Golf’s founder Woody designed the custom pants that are splashed with brightly colorful fingers to represent the early detection prostate cancer screening procedure for men.
“Loudmouth’s unique Don’t Fear the Finger pants are the perfect addition to our golf tournament this year,” says Cheri Meyn. “Tournament participants really love supporting this great cause and looking great while doing it” adds Meyn.
There are Loudmouth team members who are cancer survivors, so Loudmouth’s support hits close to home. The DFTF pants are available to purchase on the ‘Made-To-Order’ section of the Loudmouth website. A portion of proceeds from the sale of the pants will go to benefit the William R. Meyn Foundation.
The William R. Meyn Foundation was created to increase awareness, support families, and fund cutting-edge research to find a cure for prostate cancer. Their annual Don’t Fear The Finger golf tournament will take place September 17, 2012 at The Country Club at Castle Pines in Castle Rock, Colorado. The tournament was created for supporters to play golf and raise money to honor William Meyn who lost his five-year battle to prostate cancer in 2010 and all men who are fighting the disease. “Cancer is no laughing matter, but the goal of our finger pants is to raise awareness and get attention to the cause with our humorous spin on an examination that few men like to discuss,” says Loudmouth Golf CEO Larry Jackson. “When DFTF-ites who understand the stats and know the history of this tournament are asked about their pants, they immediately have a platform to encourage others to support the cause and get checked themselves. I am looking forward to playing in this event myself because I Do NOT Fear The Finger!” declares Jackson.
Loudmouth Golf is currently working with several corporations and charitable organizations to create custom designed pants. For more information, please contact Scott Sterner at ssterner@loudmouthgolf.com
