The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island proved to be an exciting venue for the 94th PGA Championship. Setting the pace for SuperStroke Golf was a 5-time PGA Tour winner, most recently the 2012 RBC Heritage champion, who used a SuperStroke Split grip to earn a T3 in the season’s last major championship.
Known for his long putter, the Swedish born player enjoyed confidence and success on the greens with his 2-piece red Split grip. The 36-hole leader finished the week with 16 birdies, helping him move up to 9th in the FedEx Cup race and to 32nd in the Official World Golf Rankings.
The T3 at the 94th PGA Championship marked SuperStroke Golf’s 14th top 3 in 2012. With 15 players using SuperStroke grips last week, 4 of them being past PGA Championship winners, SuperStroke grips continue to be the #1 jumbo putter grips on the PGA Tour.
Total won in 2012 (to date): $24.0 Million
