IRVINE, CA – August 15, 2012 – FOURTEEN GOLF, the recognized leader in wedge design with 44 worldwide professional tour victories since 2010, proudly announced today that their golf equipment was put into play last weekend on the PGA, LPGA, and Web.com Tours to wrap up six solid Top-10 finishes.
According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “This weekend validates the strength of our tour program. To have a Top-10 finish on every tour is amazing and is a company first. Thank you Rusty Estes and Steve Loerzel who are directly responsible for this success.”
At the prestigious PGA Championship, FOURTEEN GOLF claimed a tie for seventh place. As the company prepared to release this Top-10 finish information, documentation came in verifying that four LPGA professionals at the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic locked in a Top-10 using a FOURTEEN GOLF wedge.
“The well bunkered greens can be credited for the record amount of wedges the company had in play and for these four impressive finishes,” added Kamoda.
The Highland Meadows Golf Club who hosted the LPGA Tour Jamie Farr Toledo Classic helped FOURTEEN GOLF claim a tie for third, fifth, seventh and ninth. These exceptional Top-10 finishes take the company LPGA Top-10 total count to 31.
Many FOURTEEN GOLF wedge models are played on the PGA, Web.com, LPGA, Asian and One Asia Tours but the universal favorite is the RM-11 Wedge. The professionals prefer the new model because of the enlarged grooves. These bigger grooves translate to maximum spin with exceptional control. The new USGA conforming FOURTEEN GOLF trapezoidal grooves have been enlarged by 15% as compared to its predecessor.
The Web.com Tour, formerly known as the Nationwide Tour has become a great area of strength for FOURTEEN GOLF. Last week, one golfing talent played three FOURTEEN GOLF wedges (52, 56, and 60-degree) to tie for third place at the Cox Classic and this past weekend at the Price Cutter Charity Championship; FOURTEEN GOLF helped a professional tie for tenth place which put him in third in the power rankings.
FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. This year FOURTEEN GOLF officially signed
Japanese golfing prodigy and PGA Professional Ryuji Imada to a three year endorsement deal which includes a staff bag, head covers, hat, umbrella and wedges. He joins FOURTEEN GOLF team members PGA Professionals Chad Collins and Arjun Atwal.
