IRVINE, CA – August 21, 2012 – FOURTEEN GOLF, the recognized leader in wedge design with 45 worldwide professional tour victories since 2010, proudly announced today that the winner of the LPGA Safeway Classic played RM-11 Wedges. In addition, the company’s golf equipment was put into play last weekend to post a top-ten finish on both the LPGA, and Web.com Tours.
According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “It was exciting to see the winner use our wedge to chip the ball within inches of the hole on the 18th green on Sunday. This is the winner’s fourth top-5 finish in the last seven events and we congratulate her on her first victory on the LPGA Tour.”
The winner credits an improvement in her short game to an increase in confidence, allowing her to play better during the past seven LPGA events.
FOURTEEN GOLF also claimed a tie for fourth place at the LPGA Safeway Classic. This finisher was playing FOURTEEN GOLF SF-511 Woods, TC-710 Forged Irons, and RM-11 Wedges. At the Web.com Tour Midwest Classic, two FOURTEEN GOLF wedges were played by one professional to tie for eighth place.
