(VIENNA, VA) – Billy Casper Golf (BCG) hosted more than 7,800 golfers at 100 of its golf courses in 24 states during the second annual “World’s Largest Golf Outing” on Monday, August 13, raising more than $350,000 for Wounded Warrior Project™ (WWP).
The simultaneous golf outing at BCG properties included participation of more than 85 wounded warriors. WWP is a national non-profit organization that honors and empowers injured service men and women.

3. 1757 Golf Club (Dulles, VA) – $16,554
4. Eisenhower Golf Course (Crownsville, MD) — $15,869
5. Pine Ridge Golf Club (Coram, NY) – $15,579
6. P.B. Dye Golf Club (Ijamsville, MD) – $11,784
7. Reston National Golf Course (Reston, VA) – $11,040
8. Lyman Orchards Golf Club (Middlefield, CT) – $10,977
9. Heritage Hunt Golf and Country Club (Gainesville, VA) – $10,376
10. St. Johns Golf & Country Club (St. Augustine, FL) – $10,122
Launched by BCG in 2011, this year’s “World’s Largest Golf Outing” player registration and fundraising grew by 250% and 700%, respectively. In addition to a portion of entry fees WWP received, donations are being accepted at www.worldslargestgolfouting.com.
Tournament winners at each course are eligible for a grand-prize trip to the 2013 PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY in addition to products from top golf brands Ahead, Bridgestone, Callaway, Cleveland, FootJoy, Nike, TaylorMade and Titleist. Teams with the highest contribution levels won complimentary tees times at BCG courses and WWP merchandise.
