Butch Harmon, the renowned golf instructor to many of the top golf professionals and the creator of the Butch Harmon About Golf Instructional DVD series salutes Nick Watney and Dustin Johnson on their top three performances at The Barclays over the weekend. Watney finished with a four day total of 274 to win by three shots. Of Watney’s five tour victories, three have been in come-from-behind fashion. He entered the final round on Sunday trailing Sergio Garcia by two strokes and shot a final round 69 to secure the victory. Dustin Johnson finished in a third place tie four shots behind the winner after a final round 68. Nick Watney moved to the number one position in the FedEx Cup standings and improved his chances of being selected to the 2012 Ryder Cup team while Johnson moved into 8th place in the FedEx Cup standings going into the Deutsche Bank Championship. Watney and Johnson both appear in the Butch Harmon About Golf DVD – www.butchharmondvd.com.
“Nick Watney played very well in his come from behind victory last weekend”, said Butch Harmon. “Watney showed a great deal of tenacity and drive needed to overcome the deficit he faced at beginning of the final round. Dustin Johnson also played very well throughout the event and shot a very competitive score in the final round to help him move up in the FedEx Cup standings. Congratulations to Nick and Dustin for excellent performances.”
In early 2012 Butch Harmon released the Butch Harmon About Golf DVD. The DVD set is sponsored by Titleist, Winn Grips, Rolex, Golf Digest and JMA and is available for $79.95 on-line at www.butchharmondvd.com.
